APPEALS – NOT HAPPY WITH ASSESSMENT

The appeals process for Hound Assessment is managed by the Game Management Authority (GMA).

If a person disagrees with a decision made by the assessors regarding their Hound Assessment, they may request an internal review by submitting a request in writing within 28 days of receiving the decision to the Game Management Authority (GMA).

The internal review will be conducted by an independent consultant who was not involved in the initial decision.
The consultant will review the original decision and any new evidence provided by the appellant.
The review process aims to ensure that the original decision was made in accordance with the relevant legislation, policies, and procedures and that all relevant evidence was taken into account.
