2022 VHH AGM and Microchip Family Day

The Victorian Hound Hunters (VHH) committee is pleased to announce the

2022 Annual General Meeting and Microchip Family Day.

The combined event will be held on Saturday the 26th March 2022 at the home of the VHH (Les and Jo’s place) 870 Landscape Rd, Tallarook. Gates will open at 8.30 am, with hound microchipping, vaccinations, and hound assessments being available from 9.00 am.

The AGM will commence at 1.30 pm.

Entry is free for Members, with all members going into the draw for a gate prize valued at $500.00 (donated by Farrier Vet – Jude Mulholland).

All visitors and guests are welcome to come along, $20 dollars for adults (18 years or older) and free for kids.

The entry includes free BBQ and kids’ entertainment.

Internet services are limited so EFTPOS services may be affected, bring cash to be safe!

Hound Game Licence Testing and Puppy Authorisation

The Game Management Authority (GMA) will be present at the event from 9.00 am and will be conducting Hound Game Licence testing for anyone wishing to participate in the pursuit of sambar using sent trained hounds.

Note: Pre-Book testing online.

Booking can be made on the day, but Internet service maybe limited, so preference is to pre-book.

All payments are via EFT (Credit Card)

The VHH have confirmed that the GMA have setup a test booking session for your event in our MyGL online booking system. To book into the test, hunters will need to create a MyGL account

With regards to puppy authorisation, this can now be done via MyGL and applicants do not have to have a MyGL account. GMA will have plenty of tablets available for use on the day and our staff can assist hunters to complete this process.

Hound Assessments and Registration

Hounds over 12 months will be assessed by VHH registered hound assessors, Beagles, Harriers, and Bloodhounds.

Note, all hounds must be presented in good order.
Owners need to be mindful of weather conditions and provide adequate shade and water if the weather is hot.

Microchipping and Vaccinations (All dogs welcome)

Microchip and Registration – $30.00 per dog.

C-5 Vaccination – $50.00 per dog.

[Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvovirus, 2x Kennel cough(Parainfluenza and Bordetella)]

A LEGITIMATE SOURCE NUMBER MUST BE PROVIDED.
